Internal Control Area

The Internal Control area belongs directly to the orbit of the Prison Ombudsman, and exercises a permanent monitoring on the operation and organization of the Institution to verify the compliance of plans, policies, procedures, laws, norms and other dispositions that involve the activity of the Organization.

It also provides direct advice to the Prison Ombudsman on internal control and risk management, proposing improvements that add value to the Institution’s primary activity.
