This law, named in commemoration of Micaela García, a 21-year-old young woman from Entre Ríos, a victim of femicide, was enacted on January 10, 2019 establishing at its bases mandatory training in gender and gender violence for all people who work in the public function, in the Executive, Legislative and Judicial powers of the Nation.
